Valencia Marathon
Marathon PR on one of the world's fastest courses. Locked in the race plan from kilometer one, hit the 30K split at 1:59:52, and held on through the last 12K of pain to cross at 2:54:05. First time breaking 3 hours.
Jean Drapeau Half Marathon
Everything clicked on the island. Ran a strong negative split and set PRs at every intermediate distance — 5K (18:36), 10K (37:22), 20K (1:15:17) — before crossing in 1:19:25. The most complete race I've run.
Long Beach Half Marathon
Raced on the California coast a week before Jean Drapeau — flat, fast, and hot. Used it as a hard tempo effort and ended up setting a 10K PB (37:12) in the first half before backing off to save legs for the next weekend.
Beneva Montreal Half Marathon
Signed up the night before on a whim. No taper, no race plan — just showed up and raced on feel. Ended up running 1:20:12 and realized I had more in the tank than I thought. That race changed my training trajectory.
Esprit Triathlon
Second Olympic-distance triathlon and a 5-minute PR. Cleaner transitions, stronger bike, and a run that finally felt like racing instead of surviving. 1:35/100m in the water, 37.7 kph on the bike, and a 4:02/km run to close it out.
HYROX NYC
First HYROX. Eight 1km runs interleaved with eight functional fitness stations — ski erg, sled push, burpee broad jumps, farmers carry, the works. Paced the runs conservatively and went hard on the stations. Finished in 1:12 flat.
Toronto Marathon
Second marathon, still learning what 42.2K feels like. Went out a touch fast and the last 10K was a fight, but chopped 2 minutes off the first attempt. The Toronto course is honest — no free speed, you earn every second.

First Full Marathon
The one that started it all. Signed up not knowing if I could finish. Hit the wall at 32K, walked for the first time ever in a race, then dug back in to cross in 3:04. Ugly, beautiful, and completely addictive. I was hooked.
Montreal Triathlon
First Olympic-distance triathlon. 1.5K swim in the St. Lawrence, 40K bike through the city, 10K run on tired legs. Transition times were rough but the experience of racing three sports back-to-back was unmatched.
Spartan Race
Mud, walls, rope climbs, barbed wire crawls, and a sandbag carry up a ski hill. Went in with zero OCR experience and came out 1st in my age group. The grip strength from climbing training paid off on every obstacle.
Ottawa 10K
My first road race ever. Ran along the Rideau Canal on a perfect spring morning, had no idea how to pace, went out way too fast, and somehow held on for 39:12. That runner's high at the finish line is what got me into all of this.
